Billy Falcon - The Moon Saw It All

The Moon Saw It All by Billy Falcon

The Moon Saw It All
Billy Falcon/John Goodwin

It happened like things happen
That southern summer night
Tryin to lose this loneliness
I went out for a drive
I stopped into a little place in the middle of nowhere
I was about to turn and go back home
When I saw her standing there
I smiled at her, she smiled at me
We left that place, the rest is history

She held my hand as walked to my car
Drove down to the river, danced under the stars
I was holding my future there in my arms
And it felt so right

I swear I could feel the walls tumblin down
H er kiss lifted me up ten feet off the ground
I held her so close I could her heart pound
And the moon saw it all that night

She said she waited tables
At the Rocking Horse Cafe
She moved from here from Denver
She was going back one day
She said she liked my records
As we walked back to the car
She said there was something special
About the way I played guitar
I smiled at her, she smiled at me
The night we met, we made history

She held my hand as walked to my car
Drove down to the river, danced under the stars
I was holding my future there in my arms
And it felt so right

I swear I could feel the walls tumblin down
Her kiss lifted me up ten feet off the ground
I held her so close I could her heart pound
And the moon saw it all that night
